This will be coming along with the Buyer Rework in Q2 2026!
Empty properties are connected with the buyers in Story Mode because of how prices and profit are calculated. With the rework we are fundamentally changing that.
Empty properties will be added for all existing and future regions!

Desperately waiting for this update - why in the world is it taking 2 years to just add an empty plot in story mode. Absolutely unreal. Wasting my time having to dismantle houses to build new. Come on!

I agree, building from scratch in sandbox mode just doesn't feel the same at all :/

Ray O whilst id love this because id love to know the value od my builds. They need to also alow us to build the way we do in sandbox... be able to moce and reseize things thay normally cant clash...the ability to fly around... i wish there was a way to unlock sandbox build tools.

We definitely need multiple empty lots. I'd say two empty lots per location.
Also, this should've come immediately in an update. There's no reason for empty plots to take 2 years to implement other than nobody actually working on implementing it entirely.
Good work on the game with the pool update though. This would've been a simple change with any update.

Why has this one been planned for so long? it would be so simple to just add an empty lot, no? or at least a better idea is to give us an option to bulldoze the entire lot of an existing house for a high price and forfeit any money you may get from manually selling items in said lot..

It would save time and energy of knocking down a house before building another. I have sold a lot of half done houses because of this.

I can't wait for this one! Sandbox mode is fun but there is more challenge to building a house using the money you made on other jobs and sales. It is also more rewarding to sell a house you built in story mode.
