Hello everyone! With the release of the FREE Buyer 2.0 Update + Sakura DLC we have finally completed this!
The Buyer 2.0 rework allowed us to finally correctly calculate the profits for houses build from scratch :)
Four new empty lots have been added to the Base Game, and the new Akamatsu Valley enviroment has three empty lots!

loved the sandbox mode of building a house, it would be interesting to try and build a house from scratch in story mode

Dear HF2 Team,
The new empty lots are great, really! But why can't we select the lot size "dynamically" using a dropdown menu or a slider?
The price could simply adjust accordingly.
For example, I would love to have a 40 x 40 m (1,600 m²) lot, whereas someone else might only want 20 x 20 m or 30 x 20 m. It works that way (or something similar) in Sandbox mode, after all. Surely implementing this should be feasible?!
I was so looking forward to these empty lots, but the ones available are either too small or far too large (for what I intend to use them for)...
I look forward to future updates and every upcoming DLC! :)

die neuen leeren Grundstücke sind toll, wirklich, aber warum kann man die Größe des Grundstücks nicht "dynamisch" mit einem Dropdownmenü oder Slider auswählen?
Der Preis könnte sich ja dann auch ändern.
Ich hätte z.B. gern ein Grundstück mit 40 x 40 m (1600 m²), jemand anderes möchte aber nur 20 x 20 m haben oder 30 x 20 m. Im Sandbox-Modus geht es doch auch (ähnlich). Das zu implementieren sollte funktionieren?!
Ich habe mich so auf die leeren Grundstücke gereut, aber diese sind zu klein oder viel zu groß (für meinen Verwendungszweck) ...
Ich freue mich auf weitere Updates und jedes weitere DLC :)

This will be coming along with the Buyer Rework in Q2 2026!
Empty properties are connected with the buyers in Story Mode because of how prices and profit are calculated. With the rework we are fundamentally changing that.
Empty properties will be added for all existing and future regions!

Desperately waiting for this update - why in the world is it taking 2 years to just add an empty plot in story mode. Absolutely unreal. Wasting my time having to dismantle houses to build new. Come on!
