Yes! This is would help so much, especially with ceiling item placement. If I could define the zone im working in to see the center I’d be saving a ton of time on lighting placement.

I'd like such a tool to also calculate the squared dimensions (meters or feet) of a room's floor surface (or between any two points defined by the user). Each property in the game has a definable value for the total area of the building space, but there is no simple way of calculating it, and the game does not automatically calculate it for you (obviously).

The closest item we have to that right now is decorative molding or walls. I still find myself looking for one.
