If possible please make an option for stairs to have a single wall underneath on one, or the other side, you can put a door in. This would be great for making under stair storage areas.

I can't place a diagnal item next to a straight item (even though it would perfectly fit and be fine) but cups, plates, and bowls are allowed to clip through eachother when it KNOWS I want to stack them evenly?!

I just think the steampunk style is cool! Maybe also a minigame where you repair mechanisms similar to the Assemble feature for furniture in the base game.

I really enjoyed being able to paint terrain in the first house flipper when building/renovating house and being able to remove it whenever. With the buyers 2.0 update in HF2, we got a handful of empty lots in story mode which is great because we can build our own houses now, but i dont like how we cannot paint the terrain in story mode. If that could be an update where we can paint terrain in story mode just like we can in sandbox, that would be greatly appreciated!

Particularly studio-style lights, though the rotation can be adjusted there's no way to adjust the angle of the light for example when making theatrical stages (as I am). A solution could be to use gun sight mechanics common in video games, where the player enters a precision angling mode looking through the light and can then adjust where the light points to an extent (within the range of the lamp). Similar to the 'look through camera' option in 3D software like Blender and Autodesk Maya.

A new update/DLC which will expand the customisability of outdoor areas. Give us the option to lay new turf, manipulate the land and new garden furniture.

Being able to create curved walls and place curved doors and windows on them could make some houses look pretty funky. I guess if there's curved windows, curved curtains could be a possibilty. Also, either being able to create a curved staircase or just get them as a preset. Since the walls would be curved, curved foundations could also be possible.

Please create a tool that allows players to select two places/items to center an object/wall/window, or a general marking tool
