Sleeping in bed perk DOES NOT help with issue! Ability to turn day/night off/on would be great! Thank you.

I'm done with this day/night thing. I won't be playing the game until we're given a choice. If the devs don't care, then so be it.

How is this not already an option? This is a most basic accessibility feature. I've been avoiding playing HF2 waiting for some other things to be added which were in HF1 in alpha, let alone full release, so hadn't yet found that this isn't an option yet. My eyesight is not good enough to play in the dark so guess I won't be playing for even longer now.

I would also love the option to turn off the night mode! It is literally the only part of the game i really do not like. I hate when I am building a house I have to buy a random bed just to make it daytime. When you first start a house, there is no furniture, so it would just be so much more convenient if I didn't have to stop what I am doing and go to the bedroom and sleep when its dark out lol

So when are you going to make this happen, guys???
Many games have a day/night cycle, and as soon as it's introduced, there are players who request an option to turn it off. In most of those cases, not much discussion is needed to get the devs to implement that option. To name one fairly recent example, when Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 was released, an option to turn the day/night cycle off was implemented in one of the first updates after the release. No need for long-winded discussions. The devs understood that for some people it can be problematic, so they built in the option. Period. Done.
House Flipper 1 had an option to turn the day/night cycle off as well.
So when are we getting this option in HF2???
Please implement it in the June update. That would be awesome.

For crying out loud it’s in house flipper 1 why not in flipper 2?

Please add day/night settings or something. In sandbox mode you can't sleep in beds to change the time and it's so game halting when I can't do things outside because it's pitch black.
Jay
Marlee: What are you doing in Sandbox Mode? If playing jobs or houses from other players you can always go to the "Edit Level" mode and turn off the flow if time there in the Property Settings. I recommend
- Time Flow - off
- Starting hour - 10 or 11 AM
I understand it's not as easy as just disabling the night, but I hope it helps

Jay I dunno if I'm just dense but this didn't work for me. I pretty much play exclusively on the sandbox now doing jobs that other people have made. I went to the settings and changed it as you advised. Nothing seemed to happen. I don't know if there was a certain way I was supposed to save it or download the property or something but not sure what to do.

Marlee try this method: https://youtu.be/UvuHA-DZ9L0

Jay Ooooh! You have to save it to your computer! lol thank you that really helped. <3

Would prefer a settings option to choose day, night or cycle

It just feels unnecessary? Sleeping in a bed is another thing to remember, and it breaks my flow of work in the game. I want to just put on a podcast and design. I get that other people like it (or don’t care), but I want a menu option to turn day/night off like in the first game. It distracts me and it frustrates me to have the lighting change. I want to see what everything looks like in the best possible lighting at all times.
Plus (and this is truly a nitpick), it feels WEIRD to sleep in a bed in a house that isn’t your own. You would never do that in real life. I guess maybe the renovation houses that are sold to you? But there’s still the jobs, many of which take multiple in game days.
[EDIT]: even in a house you bought, but are planning to sell, it doesn’t feel right to sleep in a bed, then sell that to someone like it’s new furniture. So I would be buying a bed just for me, then stopping what I’m doing to go to it, or move it around the house with me. Then selling it when the job is complete. I love the game for the feeling of flow, where you work and work and “just one more thing” for hours without interruption. This is interruption. A creepy feeling, weird interruption.

I prefer to work on my houses in the daylight/natural light so I can see the colors of walls, floors and furniture. I don't want to have to pause what I am doing to go to bed in my office, or even buy a bed randomly for the house I am working on in order to shift that cycle. I would much rather have the option to toggle that cycle off. Please reconsider.
