Hi everyone, this already exists. In the Flipper Tool there is a Copy Style mode. Aim at a wall and a prompt to open the surface finish in store will pop up.
This gives you the exact surface finish with all the correct options selected :)

Jay In theory, you are absolutely correct, but sometimes, especially when it comes to different furniture item types, the finish/ color/ pattern will have different categories that the other one doesn't have so even if you copy the style over, you have to find the exact finish again and match it,
Example : Couch has Overall fabric and legs; if you copy it over to a bed, that might have a bedframe color, headboard color, pillow color, mattress color and quilt color and it's not always clear which particular style it will copy over with the tool.
So it would be good to have this function so we could be like "I want the same Style I used for the [Frame / Quilt/ Pillows] on the other items [overall fabric/ tablecloth / seat etc]"
I hope I managed to explain this well enough but thank you so much for taking our suggestions into consideration!

Sofie Seemayer Ah I see. That's another feature completely, not even sure how we would implement copying different items slots between two different items. You can make a post for it

Sophie is exactly right. Its especially hard if you are trying to get custom color wood and making sure the color swatch is the exact same between pieces. Sometimes the "copy style" doesnt work as expected. A "recently used" section for colors and patterns would be ideal, or the ability to copy & paste certain swatches.

YES! YES! YES! This is a much needed function! After I build something, I go back to make a match, and I don't remember all the settings I had chosen. This would help immensely!

Agreed - if paint swatches were numbered or had names, it would me much easier to use the same colour in patterns on wallpaper/textiles, especially if you've already painted a surface. Because pattern colour picking is a different format from paint colour picking, it's even harder to work out the precise shade from things like swatch location on the page.

Sankey84 Gaming, Would you elaborate please?

Patrice Lynnett I am doing this on PC so buttons may differ. Select the Flipper Tool, Press "R" then aim at the paint you want to buy more of it will then take you to the exact item that your aiming at.
works with Paint, Tiles, Wood, in fact I think it works for anything.
