It would be awesome to be able to have a tool to draw a floorplan for a house when building. A lot of us like to emulate real-life houses! I love dedicating time to details, etc. but it is a little frustrating how much time it takes to mess around building the structure. Floorplan mode would be available only on a brand-new build and once you start first-person mode you cannot go back, maybe? I get that part of the fun is the fact that you have to build things piece-by-piece when remodeling, but it would be great to have a jumpstart on the build process for sandbox homes which could then be used in story mode.

I imagine drawing the floorplan using a drag/drop line tool on a grid and having components like doors, windows and doorways. Having the ability to "plan" from the ground up ... choose ceiling height and start with the Basement (ask for below grade measurement or slab construction) then when you move on to first floor, showing the greyed-out outline of the basement floorplan while you design first floor (ask for ceiling height), then subsequently moving up a layer to the 2nd floor (ask for ceiling height) and show the greyed out 1st floor. This would then generate walls in the configuration you defined so you can further modify the home the normal way.
