Move and Save groups of items.

Allow us to create a group of items, and save it, sort of like creating a new custom object, or a code snippet. This would also require the ability to move the group as one, and for objects altered with the "Move" tool to not loose their rotation and alignment in respect to the other items in the group. We could have a personal library of items we've grouped together, and maybe share them with other players?
Things this would permit with ease:
Bowls full of fruit
Fireplace grills
Custom furniture

Yes! I have over 1,400 hours into HF2. Sandbox mod: There is something 'heartbreaking' about spending 30min - 10 hrs creating an item from bits & pieces to only discover you should have created it 5 ft. to the left... A "Weld" tool: Selecting 8 points (creating 3d box), then a pop-up window the lists the items in the "Weld"/grouping. Then you can unselect anything that wasn't supposed to be included (ex: you built the item on a rug, counter, etc). Next level: being able to adjust color/texture in the "weld" pop-up. Would imagine saving to a personal library may create size and loading time concerns; but a "Weld" tool that saves the data inside the sandbox file, would mean other players automatically have those "welded" items. Thanks!

I had this suggestion a (kind of long) while back, nice to see someone else needing it too! I need to move a quite intricate build, and I know it will take half of an eternity to do. :)

This is what I would love to have for bookshelves, it can get a little tedious to move each book from one place to another. Like shifting a group over on a shelf to make room for other items, etc.

Yesss!! So glad to see this! I’ve thought of this before, specially for shaving and shading custom made furniture
