Painting: Keep Area Selection Ability - Change Paint Mechanic to HF1 Style

Paining in HF1 is fun, relaxing, and efficient.
I love the new area selection ability in HF2. Unfortunately, the actual painting mechanic in HF2 is stressful, frustrating, uncomfortable, and not nearly as efficient.
It honestly hurts my wrist to paint in HF2 currently because the way I have to move my mouse (in a very awkward fashion).
One of the most common complaints I saw online about HF1 was the window cleaning mechanic - it's super confusing and disappointing that the same mechanic would be used for painting in HF2.
I honestly don't know if I can continue to play HF2 because of this, which makes me really bummed because (other than this issue) I do like the game so far.
This could be solved by keeping the new area selection tool (so we can paint specific sections of a wall), but change the actual painting mechanic to how it is in HF1.
I appreciate your hard work and consideration.

Not supporting this .
There are ways to change how painting works right now:
Hold the mousebutton to use Paintbrush, then just keep it there in a relaxed position and use WASD or Arrow keys to actually move the paintroll across the wall, which works very nice for me. Maybe this is a workaround that can work for you, too?
Also, you could change the way the tools work (activate and decativate versus having to hold the button), maybe that could make the experience better for you as well?

Have you tried toggling on/off the left mouse button in settings? This was also a frustration for me before i tweaked control settings. Now i just use arrow/WASD keys to control the paintbrush and squeegee. 🙂
