We need better DLC's that actually diversify content!

The DLC's aren't hitting the mark the way I would like. there are fundamental gaps in the game in terms of content (furniture, customisations, decor) yet we have items like a massage table... and now with pets announced, I’m disappointed that there’s been a focus on gimmicky stuff.
DLC theme ideas:
tiny home
mid century modern
loft living
IKEA colab
luxury
eclectic
Japandi
industrial
post modern
brutalism

Hey, thank you for the post and all the ideas!
Some of the themes you mentioned will appear in the Scooby-Doo DLC - we are currently collecting all ideas for styles from players. I recommend voting on previous suggestions or splitting this post into smaller, separate posts for each style ^^

The dlc hasn’t even released. How are you forming opinions on content not even out yet.

Hard agree - I get that the Scooby Doo dlc is on brand for a Halloween release but what's it really going to offer us in terms of everyday usable items other than 70's kitsch?

I agree, yet I disagree. Don't give them the idea that more DLC is a good solution. The base game should feel full and varied on its own too.

Ray O ehh, tbh I’m not phased by it. I’m a former sims player. Base game without DLCs is borderline unplayable in my opinion. I’m not greedy, I think with a couple more free updates it’s probably appropriate for base game.
