Sometimes you just cannot get the right window for a wall because you cannot work with halves or other sizes than pre-designed. I find this particularly annoying when trying to remake something (like the create a scene from a movie) and then I am just not able to remake it because I don't have the right sizes available.

if be really great if we could get grass like HF1 where you can roll out grass or gravle and it be nice to be able to add snow, or sand

Like in HF1, we had standing glass walls with muntin bars. If we could add that as a preference to our current glass walls, like we can our windows.

Please allow us to connect water and vent pipes to each other, not just to walls, so that we can create pipelines separate from the walls, like in the Victorian Mansion from the Scooby-Doo DLC

I know we have a curve option for an interior angle, but an external curved wall option with windows and doors that can be placed in them

We have good fridge options but I would like things like boxed food and other items like that to stock a pantry. i.e. boxed noodles, peanut butter, cereal, things like that.

Would love to see a daylight sensor smart home feature that (de)activates when it senses enough light outside. Would make it easier to, say, make path lights light up in the dark.

At this point only a few shelves are resizable - so you just have a couple of styles. Why not make all the shelves resizable?

I'd love to be able to create custom patterns to import (similar to custom pictures). Could maybe even have separate layers to allow us to change the colors in game.

Rain shower heads for ceiling with controls that you can put elsewhere that can be connected up with the wiring mechanism so that they work. This would be amazing for some of the bathroom builds I do, with pool bathtubs that have a foot bath area for the shower.
